Laminate wood installed over exisitng floor, new baseboards and natural wood wainscot added (see wainscot at end of floor).

This is a custom handrailing. The finishing of it was tricky as the owner of the house wanted it to have the same look as the original wood floors from the 1920's. A faux finish was done on the handrail to accomplish this.

There are numerous organizing products on the market today.  Utilize the walls and the inside of your cupboard doors to give you more space.
